At Dezdok, we are committed to safeguarding your privacy while you use the Remindit mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.

Our core philosophy is built on transparency and data minimization:

No Selling of Data: We do not sell your personal information.
No Third-Party Trackers: We do not employ third-party advertising trackers.
Data Minimization: We only collect and process the data absolutely necessary to provide, secure, and maintain our services.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

Remindit is designed as an offline-first application. By default, the tasks, schedules, and categories you create are stored locally on your device.

To provide essential features, ensure application stability, and improve user experience, we utilize Google Firebase (a third-party service provider). Through Firebase, we collect and process the following categories of data:

Technical & Usage Data: We collect pseudonymous and technical information, including device model, operating system version, and application crash logs. This data is used solely to diagnose technical issues, fix bugs, and optimize App performance.
Device Identifiers for Notifications: We generate and utilize unique push notification tokens. This data is used strictly to deliver your scheduled alarms, reminders, and notifications to your device.
Cloud Synchronization Data: If you voluntarily enable the optional cloud sync feature, your task data is securely transmitted and stored in our cloud database to enable cross-device backup and restoration. This data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

3. Third-Party Data Processors

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We share data with third-party service providers (such as Google Firebase) only to the extent necessary to operate the App. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are strictly prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.

4. Data Retention and Deletion Rights

You retain complete control over your data:

Local Data: You can modify or delete individual tasks within the App at any time, which permanently removes them from your local device.
Cloud Data: If cloud synchronization is enabled, deleting data within the App will also remove it from our cloud backups.
Account & Full Data Deletion: If you wish to permanently delete all synced cloud data and account information, you may initiate this request through the settings menu within the App, or by contacting us directly at hello@dezdok.com. We will verify and process your deletion request in accordance with applicable laws, typically within thirty (30) days.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or up to 16 in certain jurisdictions depending on local regulations). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

Notice for Parents/Guardians: If you believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us immediately at hello@dezdok.com, and we will take prompt steps to delete such information from our systems.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons.

We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised policy within the App or on our website and updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated policy.
